Shanghai TMC Chamber Choir is a mixed voice choral ensemble based in Shanghai, China. Founded in 2014 by TMC Culture & Arts Foundation (Taiwan), the group has performed 3 full concerts and attended several local chapel services and mass since her establishment. In July 2017, Shanghai TMC Chamber Choir is honored to be selected as participant of 33rd Takarazuka International Chamber Chorus Contest (TICCC), and awarded Silver Prize in Contemporary Music Group. TICCC is recognized as one of the most definitive chamber chorus competitions in the world. After the competition, Shanghai TMC will dedicate more to chamber choral music, while holding her niche of Chinese works. Conductor: Ms. LIU, Ching-yu Master of Vocal Performance, experienced conductor in both choral music and contemporary a capella , lyric soprano. Assistant Conductor: Ms. CHEN, Jing-ru Master of Art Education (pursuing), conductor of her own youth choir, lyric soprano. Members: All members of Shanghai TMC Chamber Choir are youth and adults. Most of them have full-time job in non-musical fields, such as architecture, consulting, financing, etc.
