About / Szu-Han Wang
Wang got her master degree of Collaborative Piano Studies with Vocal Music from Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig, Germany, under the guidance of Prof. Alexander Schmalcz. She has studied piano since the age of 4 and graduated from the special music program of Dunhua Elementary School, Taipei City, The Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University, and the music department of National Taipei University of the Arts. She majored in piano and was taught by Prof. Shu-Fen Cheng, Jia-Wei Chung, Rong-Hui Chen, and Rolf-Peter Willie. After returning to Taiwan from Germany, she has actively participated in various types of teaching and performances, such as the performance of the operas La Bohème, Carmen, Les Contes d`Hoffmann, Rigoletto, Don Pasquale, Pagliacci and L'Enfant et les Sortileges with Taipei Philharmonic Opera Studio. In 2017, she accompanied the Taipei Male Singers to Russia to participate in the Petrozavodsk International Choir Festival. In 2018, she accompanied the Taipei Youth Choir to attend the 1st Tokyo International Choir Competition in Japan and won the gold medal under the category of Youth Choir. In October 2019, she performed as the collaborative pianist with Taipei Male Singers in Shenzhen. Wang is currently the collaborative pianist working with Taipei Male Choir, Taipei Male Singers, TMC Children’s Choir and Taipei Philharmonic Opera Studio.
